- The butterfly farm in Grevenmacher, Luxembourg, is the ideal place for all those who love beauty and nature's atrractions.
You'll learn everything about the various species of butterflies from all around the world by visiting this hothouse,
complete with tropical plants, in which the most suitable conditions have been recreated to ensure the wellbeing of these winged marvels.
The Hatchery

At certain times you will be able to witness the birth of butterflies in the "hatchery" on the butterfly farm.
You can also follow the butterflies' life cycle which spans a period of two months and is divided into four different stages:

Ideal Living Conditions
- In the hothouse every butterfly feels "at home" due to a constant room temperature of 28oC
and a constant humidity of 85%. Since the plants were chosen according to the type of butterfly,
each of the 40 exotic species represented here is able to find in this environment
a selection of plants and flowers perfectly suited to its needs.
