Anybody over the
age of 14 years wishing to fish in the waters marking the border with Germany,
must be the holder of a valid Fishing License.
Minors aged between under the age of 14 years may fish without license if they
are under the surveillance of an adult license-holder.
Available from
the District Commissioners offices (=Commissariat de District) in Luxembourg-City,
Diekirch and Grevenmacher and also from the secretariats of some Borough Administrations
(=Secrétariat de Commune).
Licenses for the Vianden lake are available from the Société Electrique de l'Our
(S.E.O.) and from the "Syndicat d'Initiative
et de Tourisme" in Vianden.
The licenses allow fishing with one line that must remain under constant surveillance
of the fisher.

A (Moselle, Sûre, Our): Allows fishing from the banks with one
fishing line Cost: 15 € /year; 10 €/month; 5 €/week Note: Fishing in the Our requires both a license and a permission of the landlord owning the banks of the river. |

B (Moselle, Sûre): Rights as sub 1) plus fishing from a craft
with one line Cost: 40 €/year; 25 €/month; 10 €/week |
| 3) | Group day
license Allows fishing from the banks for one day and is available for
competitions with more than 20 participants Cost: 0.5 € per person |
| 4) | License
for Vianden Lake The conditions and tariffs are fixed by the Société
Electrique de l'Our (S.E.O.) The licence for one year can be ordered for 24.79 € at the S.E.O. 2, rue Pierre d'Aspelt, L-1142 Luxembourg. From 1st of June to 30th September, licenses for tourists: 12.50 € for 2 weeks. Available at the Tourist Office, Maison Victor Hugo, in Vianden. |
