With "Eis Musel" we are following our tradition of Luxembourg volumes which portray the country and its people. What began 12 years ago with the publication of the now long out-of-print "Waistrooss", is continued with volumes in which great expenditure has been lavished on research and photography, like "Luxembourg - a photographic journey by hot air balloon", or "Culinary Luxembourg". The latter work soon became a real "best-seller", encouraging us to publish "Eis Musel" with an identical graphic layout and in the same format.
This time we are extending an invitation to take a journey to the Grand Duchy's bank of the River Moselle. For the Luxembourger, the "Musel" is not just a river, but an entire region, with a thousand year history and a long-established native culture. The Luxembourg Moselle, with its gently rolling vineyards, its picturesque wine-growers' villages, and its sensuous festivities, cannot deny that strong Mediterranean influence which was imported by the Romans.

And what would it be without its lively wines, married as they are to some exquisite local dishes, which we also have great pleasure in presenting to you? We wish you a pleasant journey through one of the most enchanting regions in Luxembourg.
