The "Plëss" -as the Place d'Armes is colloqually known- is well and truly the City's "sitting room".

The City Tourist Office is right at hand, and a general holiday mood prevails.

Every second Saturday, the Place d'Armes plays host to the City's Flea-market.

The Place d'Armes is most conveniently located in the pedestrian centre of the capital. (see square 2B on City Map)

Place Guillaume (Knuedler)

The adjoining "Place Guillaume" (also known as "Knuedler") is similarly populated by Cafés and Delicatessen.

Every Wednesday and Saturday morning, the vegetable market is held on Place Guillaume (until 1 p.m.).

A large underground car park (entrance in Rue Notre Dame), makes for easy access to the City Centre.
