The "Plëss" -as the Place d'Armes is colloqually
known- is well and truly the City's "sitting room".
The City Tourist Office is right at hand, and a general holiday mood prevails. Every second Saturday, the Place d'Armes plays host to the City's Flea-market. |

The adjoining "Place Guillaume" (also known as "Knuedler") is similarly populated by Cafés and Delicatessen. Every Wednesday and Saturday morning, the vegetable market is held on Place Guillaume (until 1 p.m.). A large underground car park (entrance in Rue Notre Dame), makes for easy access to the City Centre. |
